Ellen's is being criticized for doing her show even though there is a strike but for some reason none of the critics are criticizing Oprah, Live with Regis and Kelly, Tyra, The View and practically all of the show in prime time even though they are all still airing new episodes. The critics also didn't mention that by continuing to tape Ellen is giving all 135 of her non-writing staff paychecks and if Ellen doesn't continue to tape her show she violates her contract!

Re: Ellen Criticized For Working The writers shouldn't criticized Ellen for working, if they want to strike then let them. If they are the same ones that wrote for her host on the emmy awards, then they should be fired instead of striking. Ellen is a very funny, and warm individual and I think she should just get some new guys in there to do some writing for her. Surely someone would like to work for money.
