The Chicago Sun Times has an article about Ellen cause she's visiting there but they also talk about other subjects such as children
Is her house filled with Dory dolls ?
''No, it isn't. If I had a kid, that might be different.'' On that subject DeGeneres admitted she and life partner Portia DiRossi have discussed it. ''We'd have to do it soon. I'm 50 and Portia's 35. But we're trying to be realistic about it. All our friends have kids. We love children and are around them all the time. Having one would be incredible and would add so much to my world, but on the other hand I love my freedom and what I'm doing.''

This morning the Daytime Emmy nominations were anounced and Ellen/the show have recievied 8 nominations . Here's the categories that she was nominated for:

Update: I found the commercial!
I haven't been able to find the commercial yet but according to a press release a new American Express commerical and print advertisments with Ellen will start airing this week. Here's a quote from the ads
“People think because I’m a talk show host I can get into any show or event or cheese tasting I want to,” said Ellen DeGeneres. “And they’re right, but it’s not because I’m a talk show host, it’s because I’m an American Express®” Cardmember.

Chris Bryant, the car jumper that was on Ellen, has used his fame to give grocerys and gift cards to needy families from his home town area.
